Many people who live in Miami-Dade County don’t meet the necessary requirements to get a driver’s license or state-issued identification, which can make proving their identity for numerous day-to-day activities and resources a challenge.
The Miami-Dade Community ID program, administered by the nonprofit Branches, can help. Anyone who lives in Miami-Dade County is eligible to apply for a Community ID, which can be used to access select Miami-Dade County services and makes it easier for people to identify themselves to social service agencies, health care centers and more.
