AVUS Connect Tech Pals^® is a volunteer program to help alleviate isolation and loneliness for seniors who are homebound.

AVUS Tech Pals® is made possible by a National Community Care Corps grant awarded in 2022 and with help from community partners.

As an AVUS Connect Tech Pals®, you can join us to:

• Visit clients’ homes to deliver and setup new computer tablets. You will educate seniors on how to find and download applications, manage and backup photos, browse the Internet, be mindful of online purchases, and setup a personal email account. Locations will be assigned throughout Miami-Dade County. Visiting homes is an age 18+ only opportunity.
  
• Take calls from clients who have received their computer tablets to provide technical support and education.
  
• Make phone calls to clients who have received their computer tablets to check on how they are enjoying the technology and if they have any questions. Provide education, as needed.
